Yuson said the Provincial Government has allocated P 33 million for the improvement of waterways and desiltation to prevent destruction of agricultural crops, private and public infrastructures.

The town of Hermosa being situated below sea level when high tide occurs and heavy downpour, tremendous flooding can be expected in the area. “What we are trying to do is mitigate flooding and its consequences.”
He added that the national government has approved the allocation of P 1 billion for the improvement and rehabilitation of existing major tributaries in Pampanga and Bataan
The completion of the flood control projects is expected to solve the perennial flood problems in several Pampanga and Bataan coastal towns.
