BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) is in the process of facilitating the requirements to build the new 69kv Hermosa-Floridablanca transmission line seen to redound to the benefit of its consumers in terms of continuous, reliable, and efficient power supply.
“The new Hermosa-Floridablanca transmission line will pass through seven barangays, and we already got certificates of no objection from the three villages”, said Ernest Vidal, NGCP Regional Corporate Communication Officer during his guesting at the local radio station 98.3 FM Smile Radio on Thursday.
“We intend to complete the requirements on schedule including getting the right of way from private landowners”, he added.
“With the existing 69 kv Hermosa-Guagua transmission nearing overloading, a new transmission line is necessary to ensure reliable and efficient supply in the areas of Pampanga and Bataan provinces”, Vidal explained.
“We urge the public to support the expansion projects of the NGCP, which are geared for us to be able to serve you better”, he said. He said they are also building new transmission lines in Rizal and Bulacan.
“NGCP is a private company operating with an outlook of public service”, he said.
