NHA Balanga City low-rise housing project breaks ground

Bataan officials led by Gov. Abet Garcia broke ground and laid capsule for the construction of NHA Balanga City Low-Rise Housing Project in upland Brgy. Tenejero on Friday.

“We will construct six 3-story housing buildings. Each building will have 36 residential units”, said Mayor Francis Garcia.

“Hopefully by next year the accessible, flood-free, and with complete community facilities housing project will be ready for occupancy”, said Gov. Abet Garcia. “It is the mandate of the government to provide decent and safe housing”, he also said.

For her part Vice Gov. Cris Garcia said, “We are one in our advocacy in line with the vision of highest Human Development Index in the country”.
“The SP will always support Bataeno families”, he said.

Second district Cong. Joet Garcia, the former city mayor said, “In 2012, our plan was to build a single detached housing unit. But now what we will construct are six low-rise housing buildings”.
“We will continue asking NHA to build more housing projects in the province”, the congressman said.

Earlier in the day on Friday, Bataan top officials also attended the turnover of 100 housing units at NHA-constructed Mariveles Heights Resettlement Project in Brgy. Cabcaben, Mariveles.
A total of 975 residential units will be built in the resettlement site.
There was also groundbreaking recently of 1Bataan Village in Brgy. Daan Pare, Orion to accommodate displaced fire victims from seaside Brgy. Capunitan.
