National Housing Authority (NHA) Regional Manager Arceli Natino during the turnover of 100 residential units of 1Bataan Village-Mariveles Heights in Barangay Cabcaben last February 7 guaranteed that NHA supports the housing projects of the province through the Community-Based Initiative Approach (CBIA).

“Noong isang linggo kausap po namin si NHA GM [Escalada] nangako po sya sa liderato ng pangulo na marami pa pong magagandang housing projects sa Mariveles at sa buong lalawigan ng Bataan,” Governor Abet Garcia said which was later on confirmed by RM Natino in her message.

In the ceremonial key awarding, families opened their units simultaneously, followed by the groundbreaking for the construction of a school building inside the premises of the village.
Said housing project will have a total of 975 residential units with community facilities such as covered court and health center for the beneficiaries of the and mandamus program which aims to relocate families living 20 meters from the shoreline for the rehabilitation of Manila Bay and its tributaries.
