BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Governor Albert Raymond Garcia and his younger brother Balanga City Mayor Jose Enrique Garcia III have espoused the one stop shop concept of development as a key to continuous success and economic prosperity of the historic peninsula.
Speaking before a group of broadcast and print reporters the other day, Garcia stressed, “We are pursuing this innovation in the formulation of investment scheme with business process outsourcing component and available spaces for private and public offices“.
Citing the progress in highly-urbanized areas in the country, Garcia said the traditional-style in operating department stores and supermarket formats is being replaced in response to customers’ growing demand of varying lifestyles and diverse shopping needs and service oriented public and private offices under one roof now the new trend in mixed –use-facility.
The on-going three projects, the multi-billion government center and business hub, Star Mall complex and the transport terminal all in Balanga City would have provided job opportunities to college graduates in state- owned university and from highly-skilled technical schools.
Garcia, the proponent of the law creating the fast growing Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) explained the adoption of the one-stop-shop of commercial shopping centers is truly beneficial to investors and the residents.
As far the investment scheme is concerned, Garcia added it would stabilize local economy and balance capital flight due to expansion of marketing and service facilities .
