CITY of BALANGA, Bataan – The Civil Service Field Office Bataan and the Council of Personnel Officers Bataan conducted this year’s recognition rites for the Bataan Circle of Heroes in Government Service (Lingkod Bayani ng Bataan) in order to acknowledge public servants who stood out among others and went beyond their job descriptions, held this morning, September 27, at Lou-Is Resort and Restaurant, this city.
The ceremony was organized by Ms. Magdalena Abella (CPO President, Bataan Chapter), Dr. Ma. Lourdes Evangelista (OIC Chief of Hospital II, MMH), Dir. Edgardo Cruz (Director II, CSC Field Office), Ms. Purificacion Palacio (CPO Vice President, Bataan Chapter), Emy Raymundo, Sheila Militante and Ms. Lea Payong.
The following received the Honor Awards Program (HAP) plaques of recognition:
Mr. Arturo Villanueva (Bataan Peninsula State University) who received the “Beyond Borders of Public Service” award because of his contribution and promotion of artistic and creative excellence by establishing Sining at Kultura ng Lahing Bataan and for the use of original Filipino design and style for his products.
Ms. Teresita Villa (Agriculturist II, LGU-Orani) who is the CSC HAP – PAGASA Regional Nominee (Individual Category) because of her Bantay Peste brigades in Orani and her efforts for the awareness on the development of rice farming technology.
Mariveles Mental Hospital (Health Emergency Management & Disaster Response Team) who is the CSC HAP – Presidential Lingkod Bayan Regional Winner (Group Category) because of their competence and commitment to deliver medical and psychosocial support during emergencies and disasters. The team is composed of the following: Team leader – Dr. Ruby Lynda Reyes (Medical Officer IV), Members – Mr. Rolando Boniquit (Nurse IV), Ms. Roselyn Mararac (Social Welfare Officer IV), Mr. Ronald Hernandez (Nurse III), Mr. Jojie Maglaqui (HEPO III), Ms. Ma. Jessica Alcanzaren (Nurse III), Ms. Maria Thesa Meris (Nurse III), and Mr. Arvin Sanchez (Nurse III).
