ORANI, Bataan – With the theme, “Pangarap mo, Pangarap ko, ating pagsamahin at gawing pundasyon sa pagiging taga-Orani natin,” Mayor Bondjong Pascual set the record straight not only in their educational ranking but also in their economic standing.

In their first ever educational summit, Mayor Pascual, together with Vice Mayor Bong Galicia and SB Members, invited students, teachers and parents for two days, covering all the barangays in their town, to present the town’s current educational ranking as no. 31 out of the 32 public high schools in the province based on the last National Achievement Test (NAT) results and no. 11 out of the 11 municipalities and 1 city in the over-all standing in the DepEd Division level.

While in the economic standing, Orani, which used to compete with Dinalupihan in the no. 1 position based on their locally sourced income, now occupies the no. 6 spot in the 1st district with only P25M for their LSI for 2016 vis-a-vis Dinalupihan which has P81M; and was even surpassed by 4th class municipalities – Morong and Samal towns with P50M each, locally sourced income.

Mayor Pascual challenged not only the officials but more so the people to work hand in hand, to strive harder, and aim higher, to achieve more in the years to come.

To sustain their inclusive growth, Mayor Bondjong said they will also enhance their Eco-Tourism which is a goal of their Executive Legislative Agenda (ELA), that is to promote their town as one of the 5-preferred eco-tourism sites in Central Luzon.

In the end, Pascual rallied everyone to always have the GRATIS attitude or to be God-fearing people, with Respect, Accountability,Teamwork, Integrity and provide good Service to everyone.
