P1B income seen in Balanga City

The office of the City Treasurer of Balanga is optimistic it can realize the total collection of P1 billion income for the component city in Bataan this year, according to Treasurer Joselito Evangelista.

Evangelista said it may not be too far off when the city government will realize the dream of City Mayor Francis Anthony Garcia to attain the P1 billion income of Balanga this year 2019.
“Hindi malayong magkatotoo yan because of the increase in business activity here in Balanga,” said Evangelista. He said because of more small and big business establishments rising in the city “we ought to collect that much.”

Just recently, the Capitol Square, a new mall was opened to public thus raising the competitiveness of trade and commerce in the city. Before the year end a new commercial establishment, Waltermart Supermarket will be opened to public. It is located along Roman Highway at the back of Balanga City public market.
