PCG-Bataan has new station commander

LIMAY, Bataan – The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG-Bataan) based in Barangay Lamao here has their new station commander.

Last Thursday, September 29, Lt. Carlos Victor V. Carlos took over replacing Lt. Fideles Salidao who was transferred to PCG-Farola Binondo station in Manila.


Lt. Carlos was previously assigned in Subic as commander of the PCG’s marine environmental protection unit. He also served as an intelligence officer of the whole PCG Southern Mindanao District.
Carlos is also an expert in maritime security and law enforcement with background in multi-media endeavors.


Lt. Carlos said as part of the President’s declaration of state of lawlessness in the country, they have intensified their vessel monitoring system wherein every vessel that docks within their maritime jurisdiction is subjected to mandatory inspections by the Philippine Coast Guard personnel.
