PDRRMO joins 1M41B Challenge

Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (PDRRMO) led by PDRRMO Officer Josefina Timoteo joined the Provincial Government of Bataan’s 1 Million Trees for 1Bataan Challenge together with Municipality of Orion Mayor Antonio Raymundo, different departments of Provincial Government of Bataan, Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) 1st and 2nd District Engineering Offices (DEO) and different municipality disaster risk reduction officers held at Brgy. Camachile, Orion, Bataan last July 12.
Mayor Raymundo expressed his gratitude for choosing their municipality in joining 1Million Trees for 1Bataan Challenge. “Every planted tree is a big help not only in our province but in the Philippines as well,” he added.
A total of 180 participants with 2,000 mangrove seedlings joined the challenge. Camachile Barangay Captain Jessie Agustin said that they will do their best to protect the trees planted in their area. To date, 1 Million Trees for 1Bataan Challenge is still on-going and everyone is encouraged to participate.
