The Provincial Government Environment and Natural Resources (PG-ENRO) distributed farming inputs to 35 people’s organization chairmen and representatives from all over the province under the Community Based Forest Management (CBFM) program of the PG-ENRO yesterday, July 29 at the Provincial Nursery Brgy. in Pantingan. Included in the farm inputs distributed are fertilizers and farming equipment.
During the distribution, PG-ENRO staff Ms. Wynne Perpedia took the opportunity to clarify the mechanics and other concerns regarding the 1 Million Trees for 1Bataan Challenge (1M41B).
She emphasized that those joining the Challenge, will have to provide their own seedlings but their office can provide additional seedlings.
People’s organization chairmen reported the current situation in their CBFM areas with the seedlings and equipment distributed by the PG-ENRO. One of the chairmen said that the materials coming from the said office is a big help in the continuous progress of their CBFM areas.
