POPCOM Bataan bags 2019 Kaunlarang Pantao Award

Commission on Population (POPCOM) Bataan won the 2019 Kaunlarang Pantao Award as Outstanding Local Population Structure in Region III in simple ceremonies held at The Orchids Garden, City of San Fernando, Pampanga last October 10.

Kaunlarang Pantao Award aims to recognize local population offices for their outstanding contribution and performances both in individual excellence as well as an office which was known before as Rafael M. Salas Population and Development Award.

Bagging other awards were Imelda M. Vinzon 2nd Runner Up, Outstanding Local Population Worker; Ramela P. Buensuceso 1st Runner Up, Outstanding Local Population Worker; and Rossana P. Verdida Champion, Outstanding Local Population Officer.

To recognize the efforts of the winners, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Bataan handed plaques of recognition during the traditional flag raising ceremony last October 14 at Bataan People’s Center.
