Public transport and housing facilities road to progress of Bataan

A brisk public transport business and housing facilities are projected to become worthwhile speculation with the rapid urbanization here due to significant strata of economic development in the province’s component city.

Engineer Eduardo Tapan, a former three-termer city councilor of this city is positive of the clear income prospect of public transport operators that would eventually serve the conveyance needs of the growing population including migrant workers, students, entrepreneurs with the operation of more shopping malls, commercial outlets and industrial and economic zone in the provincial government and educational center.

Tapan, a geodetic engineer and former chair of the Balanga City Sangguniang Panlunsod (SP) Committee on Urban Use, explained then City Mayor Albert Raymond S. Garcia had conceptualized the creation of comprehensive land use plan which has fueled the growth of one of the leading component cities in Central Luzon.

The scope of the land use development plan covers the construction of road networks, housing project sites, designation of commercial and industrial locations, schools, hospitals, public parks and other valuable amenities .

The former city councilor is one of the proponents of the construction of the four-lane Enrique Garcia Sr. Avenue which later on became the gateway to the heart and useful path to progress of Balanga City.

The implementation of a long-range sustainable development scheme has induced the influx of investors from Central Luzon and Metropolitan Manila who excitedly understood the systematic business procedures and lucrative endeavors, Tapan added.
