BAGAC, Bataan – No less than the president of one of the biggest cruise ship companies in the world, the Royal Caribbean International, visited Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority and the Province of Bataan specifically the Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in this town last Saturday, December 16.

The reason for the visit is that the Royal Caribbean International eyes Bataan and SBMA to be included in the ports that the cruise ship will be docking soon. The Royal Caribbean International holds the biggest cruise ship in the world, carrying more than 7,000 tourists and personnel in one ship. It also includes hotel rooms, casino, pool, artificial surfing, sky diving, and slides, and other amenities the passengers will surely love.

Knowing that the biggest cruise ship in the world is planning to dock and visit in Bataan, possibly carrying more or less 5,000 foreign tourists, it can surely help in the growth and development of our tourism and business industry. With that, the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are now encouraged to get ready to serve tourists with their world-class food/non-food products and souvenir items when they arrive. They are set to dock sometime in June next year.

This is something to look forward to, the biggest ship in the world in real life, not just in the movies.
