Sound economic dev’t plan transforms Balanga City into commercial business center

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The rapid transformation of the province’s component city into a commercial business and educational center is attributed to the implementation of a sound and progressive economic development scheme.

Manuel C. Banzon III, former media consultant of three-termer Balanga City mayor and current representative of Bataan second congressional district, Jose Enrique S. Garcia III, gave details on the marvelous economic upsurge of the City is basically measured on the long standing economic policy, good governance, expanding industrial growth areas, availability of high-skilled labor, sufficient supply of power and other industrial inputs and favorable geographical location near Metro Manila.

The reasonable advantages of Bataan compared to other provinces are the phenomenal economic interactions which figuratively produced conducive business atmosphere that motivated foreign and local manufacturing firms to expand their operations in Bataan.

According to Banzon, the national government program of decongesting industrial plants in Metro Manila and the completion of Public-Private Partnership mode of financing high-end infrastructure projects like the proposed toll bridge connecting Mariveles to Naic, Cavite; transshipment hub in Freeport Area of Bataan in Mariveles and other commercial and industrial projects in Limay,Hermosa, Morong towns and Balanga City would encourage investors to the province.

He said those escalating industrial growth areas in Bataan have contributed immensely to the progress of commercial, wholesale and retailing conglomerates as well as the diversification of educational system in this City.
