SP backs capitol employees’ professional growth

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) led by Vice Governor Cris Garcia fully backs professional growth of capitol employees.

This was highlighted anew with the provincial board’s passing of a resolution allowing Gov. Albert Garcia to enter into memorandum of agreement with Petron Foundation for the study grant of PG ENRO Integrated Coastal Management Program personnel Karen Balbuena on Monday’s regular session.

Before unanimously adopting the resolution, clarifications from Board Member Aris Gaza were briefly tackled. Board Member Rey Ibe motioned for the passage of the resolution.

The vice governor noted that they already passed a similar resolution in the past aiming to help capitol employees develop professionally.

Balbuena will be participant to Professional Masters in Tropical Marine Ecosystems Management Program, which is being sponsored by Petron Foundation.

She will be studying for one academic cycle or 1.5 years starting this month in UP Diliman Marine Science Institute.

At the completion of her studies, she is expected to become a coastal and marine management expert.
