TFG movement reaches out to more students

In line with the strong advocacy of the Province of Bataan led by Congressman Joet Garcia, to achieve a Tobacco Free Generation (TFG), an education and health caravan entitled “Kabataan at Kalusugan para sa Kinabukasan” was again staged by the TFG Bataan, this time among students of Mariveles National High School and Pablo Roman National High School last November 20-21.

Present in the said caravan were Mariveles Mayor Jocelyn Castaneda, Pilar Mayor Carlos Pizarro, and respective school principals. The purpose of the roadshow is to promote healthy lifestyle among students, strengthen the leadership of the student government, and increase the engagement of the community in schools. Aside from the dance fitness activity, there were also break-out sessions on leadership, tree planting, dental health program lecture, free eye check-up, healthy food seminar, and laro ng lahi participated by students and teachers.

TFG Bataan proudly announced that the TFG movement has now reached other cities for they are invited by the local government unit (LGU) of Baguio and Iloilo to further discuss the objectives of TFG.
This education and health caravan is set to reach out to more students in the coming days in City of Balanga High School (COBHS) and Orion National High School (ONHS).
