With numerous awards and recognition in various football tournaments, the Bataan Football Club has once again brought pride and honor during the 1st Olongapo United Football Unity Cup joined by different provinces in Region 3 held at East Tapinac Oval Field last October 5.
For this tournament, the team was composed of 86 elementary and high school students from the Municipality of Dinalupihan and City of Balanga. The team brought home 4 awards out of the 5 age categories they joined. Here are the awards:
8 years old category, 3rd place
10 years old category, 2nd place
12 years old category, Champion
14 years old category, 3rd place
16 years old category, 5th place
Coach Samuel Odunlami proudly said that the students in the 12 years old category have maintained its title over the past years in joining various tournaments.
To date, The Bataan Football club is set to compete again in the upcoming COPA Bonifacio on October 20, 2019 at ASCOM Football field.
