1Bataan football players conquer Bulacan

Sixteen teams from different cities and provinces in Luzon competed last Saturday, November 23 at the 1st Lakan Football Cup 7-A –Side Football Tournament held at the Bulacan Sports Complex in Malolos.

A total of 120 players from our very own 1Bataan Football Team under the tutelage of Coach Sam, pitted their talent against players from Pangasinan, Clark City, San Beda Manila, De La Salle University, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Olongapo City to name a few.

At the end of the day, our players, ages 1-16, who competed in 5 events (according to age) brought home three trophies and medals. Tristan Erive (12 yrs old) and Antom Tomos Rosete (14 yrs. old) both from Dinalupihan were adjudged Most Valuable Players. Incidentally, two players were already offered scholarship grants by FEU and San Beda.

The players who came from Balanga City, Hermosa, Samal, Limay and Dinalupihan are thankful to Gov. Abet and Mayor Gila for their unwavering support to the sports.
