1Bataan Integrated Transport System receives award

ORION, Bataan – The Coast Guard District National Capital Region-Central Luzon (CGD NCR-CL) celebrated its 50th Founding Anniversary at the Philippine Coast Guard Gymnasium, CGBF, Binondo, Manila last Wednesday, May 23.

An Arrival of Honor was rendered to Admiral Elson E. Hermogino, Commandant of the Philippine Coast Guard who also served as the guest speaker of the said event.

Different awards were given to all distinctive guests, PCG units and stations for their continuous dedication and loyalty in serving and protecting the Maritime Community.

It was gratifying to know that most participants as well as the accomplishments were from Bataan which includes 1Bataan/ Magic Leaf Marine Logistic Corp who received the award for INVALUABLE SUPPORT DURING THE MOBILIZATION OF PERSONNEL OF COAST GUARD STATION IN BATAAN AND OTHER MEMBERS OF THE LAW ENFORCEMENT TEAMS FROM MANILA TO PORT CAPINPIN, ORION, BATAAN AND VICE VERSA ON BOARD m/v XGC EPRESS that contributed to the success of search operation and raid to areas engaged in manufacturing and storage of improvised explosive devices (EID’s) in Brgy. Lamao, Limay town. Former Bataan Board Member Mr. Gaudencio Ferrer received the award for 1Bataan Integrated Transport System.
