Samal showcases cooking creativity in ‘Luto, Produkto, Turismo’

The municipality of Samal held  the “Luto, Produkto, Turismo” competition last  April 22 as part of the celebration of its 385th Founding Anniversary. The event, led by Mayor Alex Acuzar aimed to promote local culture, culinary heritage, and tourism.

Participants showcased a variety of dishes, products, and tourism concepts, exhibiting the  rich tradition of the municipality.

Winners of the competition were:

1st Place: Josephine De Guzman

2nd Place: Marie Joy De Jesus and Abegail Ortiguerra

3rd Place: Richard Forbes

Mayor Acuzar  lauded all participants for their efforts, noting that initiatives like “Luto, Produkto, Turismo” help in promoting local enterprises and strengthening the identity of  Samal  as a  progressive community.
