“1M41B” launched

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The Provincial Government of Bataan, the Provincial Government-Environment and Natural Resources (PG-ENRO), and the Sangguniang Kabataan launched this morning, September 10, the “1 MILLION TREES for 1BATAAN” (1M41B) Challenge during the traditional flag raising ceremony at the Bataan People’s Center.
It is important to plant plenty of trees because it will save us from harmful substances by filtering the air that we breathed and also prevent soil erosion in our mountains.
Mr. Geoff Loyola, the governor’s Chief of Staff explained the mechanics of the challenge. This challenge is open to all the residents of Bataan, individual or group (maximum of ten members). All they need to do is plant as many trees as they can. They can submit entries starting today, September 10. They must “geo-tag” it by downloading the GEOCAM APP on their respective app store. For the complete mechanics, please visit the website: www.bataan.gov.ph/1M41B.
