Cerebral Palsy (CP) is a non-progressive condition affecting the immature brain characterized by movement, balance, and postural problems. It is the most common disorder that affects children and adults in the world.

Intermediate wheelchair assessors from UP Manila Harvey Domingo; Ma. Patricia Sahagun, a physical therapist; and Dr. Ferdiliza Garcia gave the parents and guardians of persons with CP an orientation on home based treatment as well as the requirements, maintenance and safety instructions on the use of intermediate wheelchairs.

At least 51 persons with CP from all over the province will be the beneficiaries from this program which is made possible through the collaborative efforts of the provincial government, the PSWDO and the Latter Day Saints Charities.
