BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The Provincial Government of Bataan is once again a finalist for the 2018 Seal of Good Local Governance award, and for this, the validation was held at the Provincial Government Office’s Conference room, Wednesday.
National Validators are from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region 10 headed by LGCDD Chief Hazel L. Occena.
The 2018 SGLG presentation done by Provincial Administrator, Ms. Ludivina G. Banzon includes core indicators such as Financial Administration, Disaster Preparedness, Social Protection, Peace & Order and Essential Indicators such as Business-friendliness and Competitiveness, Environmental Management and Tourism, Culture & Arts.
On-site inspection was also done by the DILG validators in selected areas in Bataan.
A consistent SGLG Awardee since 2016, Bataan is hopeful that it will get its 3rd award this year.
