SCED conducts budget review for FY 2017

CITY of BALANGA, Bataan – The Sectoral Committee on Economic Development (SCED) of the Regional Development Council III (RDC) chaired by Bataan Governor Albert S. Garcia held its 4^th Regular Meeting to conduct its Fiscal Year 2017 Agency Budget Review, at Lou-is Restaurant, Capitol Drive, this City, last March 3.

“So, this is part of the budgeting process wherein the different regional agencies na under ng SCED ay mag-pe-present ng kani-kanilang budget proposals for the year 2017 which will then be consolidated sa agencies central office,” said Mr. Greg L. Pineda, OIC-Assistant Regional Director of the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA)-Region III.

NEDA, who served as the RDC Secretariat discussed first the presentation on the Geographical Focus of Regional Budget.

The agencies who reported their agency budget proposals were as follows: Department of Agriculture III, National Irrigation Administration III (NIA), NIA-Upper Pampanga River Integrated Irrigation System, Department of Environment and Natural Resources III, Department of Trade and Industry III, Department of Tourism III, Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources III, Mines and Geo-Sciences Bureau III, Environmental Management Bureau III, Department of Agrarian Reform III and the Department of Science and Technology III.

SCED Chair Albert Raymond S. Garcia, Bataan Provincial Governor, spearheaded the meeting that is executed every year which will account how the different regional agencies will operate.
