ORANI, Bataan – The Bataan Police Provincial Office (BPPO) recently conducted a lecture about anti-illegal drugs campaign at the Orani National High School.
Police Inspector Jennifer Cruz, information office chief of the BPPO, said she was the one tasked to teach the students about the ill effects of taking illegal drugs, classification of drugs and the Republic Act 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
“I also discussed about the Bataan PNP’s all government/multi sectoral approach in the fight against illegal drugs namely, the creation of drug convenor, Balik loob program, Bahay Pag asa Reformation Center, and the (now popular) shame campaign rally,” Inspector Cruz told 1Bataan.com in an exclusive interview.
Cruz further added that Bataan PNP’s lectures, seminars and symposia on anti-illegal drugs have been proven to be good interventions in their fight to eradicate illegal drugs. “Positive response naman po sa teachers at mga students kasi very informative daw po ang topic ko,” Cruz added.
The BPPO, Cruz said, will set another schedule to other public schools until they have finished lecturing all the students of Bataan
