BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The Philippine Councilors League (PCL) Bataan Chapter will be supportive of Gov. Albert Garcia’s programs for the province of Bataan. This was the central message of Balanga City Councilor Noel Valdecanas, newly elected president of the PCL Bataan to local media who covered the PCL election on Wednesday.
He said as president of PCL Bataan and ex-officio member of SP, he will lead PCL Bataan in supporting the programs of Gov. Albert Garcia and will work to ensure that councilors in the province get the benefits due to them. He said he will also support the anti-drugs campaign of President Rodrigo Duterte.
Angel Sunga, Mariveles councilor and PCL Bataan newly elected board member, echoed the programs of the governor will be fully supported by PCL Bataan in all towns in the province.
He added the new officials of PCL Bataan through the leadership of Valdecanas will work as a team and will further work for unity of all councilors in the 12 towns of the province. He said they will also push for effective local legislation.
The tandem of former Balanga mayor and now 2nd district Congressman Joet Garcia and him as city vice mayor for last three terms was credited for implementing award-winning governance practices, robust business growth, and delivery of genuine services to city folks.
