OWD recognizes honesty among employees

ORANI, Bataan – As a way of promoting goodness, the Orani Water District (OWD) management is recognizing honesty among its employees.

OWD General Benni Andres said they recently recognized in a simple program their employee Nelson Lintag for returning the cellphone of local mediaman Atoy Galicia. The employee was given a certificate of recognition and P1,000 cash.

“Mr. Galicia informed me that he lost his cellphone during our recent planting activity in upland Barangay Tala, but the good thing Lintag found the cellphone and returned it to him”, narrated the general manager.

“As pointed out by Mr. Galicia, his old Samsung cellphone may not already cost that much but extremely important are the contacts”, he said.

“Upon knowing his honest deed, I immediately scheduled the simple program to recognize Lintag and invited Mr. Galicia”, he also said.

Andres said in the past they also recognized the honesty of one of their employees who found a cellphone in the OWD office and returned it to the owner.
