BAGAC, Bataan – In line with the celebration of the National Children’s Month (NCM), the Bagac Municipal Station (Bagac MPS) supports the goal of the National Government which targets to collect one million pencils from different agencies including the Philippine National Police.

“Napakaganda ng programang ito dahil tiyak na marami ang makikinabang,” said SPO2 Maricar Apilan, Chief WCPD of Bagac MPS.

This activity, dubbed as “One Million Lapis Campaign” will run until October 2016 and will attempt to set a Guinness World Record.

“The collected pencils will be distributed to underprivileged Filipino students,” said PCI Joey Sampaga, former Chief of Police of Bagac MPS.

The final counting and official declaration of collected pencils will be on Nov. 5, 2016 during the kick-off activity of the NCM celebration and will be handed to the Department of Education on Nov. 20, 2016.
