Expansion of Bataan Vista Mall mulled

PILAR, Bataan – Metro Bataan Development Authority (MBDA) chairman and  general manager  Charlie Pizarro has revealed the other day that the management of the newly-established multi-billion peso Bataan Vista Mall  in Balanga City is eyeing another appropriate  location  for its intended  housing projects and expansion  of its commercial and office  property leasing  model   in the periphery of Barangay Ala-Uli, this town.

Chairman Pizarro  is reportedly amazed by  the recent  strategic development  plan of former Senate President  Manny Villar, Jr. of selecting  a bustling commercial district in the heart of the Bataan peninsula  and a few kilometers away from the historic Mount Samat National Shrine, the second  tourism infrastructure and enterprise zone  after  Luneta Park of the Department of Tourism.

MBDA general manager Pizarro, the undefeated three-termer mayor of this town said the technical staff and corporate investment team of the Vista Mall are exploring vital keys in adopting systematic measures for successful business enterprises.

Based on the initial discussion of the project, Chairman Pizarro explained that former Senate President Villar is essentially pursuing a feasible development site of about 20 hectares which is accessible and strategically positioned  near the Bataan Vista Mall, one of the largest shopping centers in Central Luzon.

He added that the agricultural village of Ala-Uli in this town is seemingly a flourishing, fully integrated and self-contained community that harmonizes modern conveniences with nature and tourist spots.

A number of locators are reportedly interested to establish middle-class restaurants, fast foods, convenience stores, souvenir shops and other amenities in the vicinity of Barangay Ala-Uli.

Prominent residents and businessmen have been evaluating the growing economic activities in the stretch of Roman Expressway from Hermosa to Mariveles towns to determine the kind of worthy investments to put up with the rapid urbanization of the Bataan major thoroughfares.
