BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The Civil Service Commission Regional Office 3 leads this year’s Local Executives Program (LEP) in line with the 117th anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service.
Held at the Taal Vista Hotel in Tagaytay City from September 4-5, this year’s LEP aims to enable the local executives of Region 3 to appreciate and understand their critical roles and responsibilities as Human Resource (HR) Champions in their respective organizations.
The CSC likewise sees this undertaking as a means to strengthen their capabilities to strategically, efficiently and effectively manage their human resources towards growth and development.
Gov. Albert S. Garcia shared Bataan’s best practices in local governance as he talked about the province’s transformation journey.
According to Dir. Edgardo Cruz, Bataan – CSC, the biggest delegation is from Bataan with 124 attendees representing the 11 towns and lone city of the province.
Gov. Abet is joined by other distinguished speakers namely: Coach Audie Masigan who discussed Change Management for Local Government Executives; DILG Regional Director Julie Daquioag, Ph.D who updated the participants on the latest issuances; ASCOM Ariel Ronquillo highlighted the new revised rules on administrative cases in the civil service; Director Jennifer Timbol, Director Nelson Sarmiento; Director Lynn Sicangco; and Hon, Ed Pamintuan all tackled HR related topics.
In closing, Commissioner Robert Martinez led the covenant signing.
