Chinese firms plan to relocate in Bataan

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Several plastic manufacturing firms from People’s Republic of China are reportedly planning to relocate their industrial operations in the province.

Mabini Pulido,Jr., Assistant Provincial Assessor, said  that a Chinese locator at the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) informed  him of the enthusiastic desire of a group of industrial firm owners to move out of Mainland China.

Pulido reportedly was informed by the Chinese locator that Bataan is a feasible and lucrative site for the plastic recycling entrepreneurs with the operational economic and industrial zones.

One big factor which makes the province as a premier choice for the labor-intensive plastic manufacturing plants is the accessibility of the Bataan peninsula to Metro Manila and the two fast growing Freeport zones in the country to the intended foreign markets Pulido said.

Chinese investors have reportedly conducted production analysis, availability of industrial workers and other market demands for plastic products.

The influx of new investments would improve the status of the industrial and commercial trend with highly innovative consumer products available in the local markets and nearby regions.
