BPGA to invest in Biogas project

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The president of the Bataan Poultry Growers Association (BPGA), Mr. Eric Hermoso, during their Christmas party yesterday, December 13 took the presence of the majority of their members as an opportunity to reiterate and enlighten the group on their interest to share in the European Technology Biogas Facility project which will be established in Abucay town.

Hermoso explained that compared to other biogas facility ever established nationwide, said biogas project is much better because they use German technology with 98% high efficiency. Secondly, aside from low electricity rate, they will have an organic fertilizer and more importantly, they will no longer wait for a week or more, for their contact in Baguio City to collect their chicken manure.

Majority of the general members agreed in principle on the beauty of the project, that they suggested for a re-evaluation on the legalities of the project, that the Agro-by-product Solution and Services Incorporated (ASI) be invited again to shed more light on the matter.
