20 foreign investors eye Bataan-Cavite toll way bridge project

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – More than 20 foreign investors have expressed their intentions to participate in the proposed plan to construct the $ 2 billion Bataan –Cavite toll way bridge project which would transport better magnitude of economic and -industrial headway between two progressive regions in the country.
Governor Albert Raymond S. Garcia has revealed during a press conference held recently the positive responses of foreign corporate groups of the great economic impact of the proposed twenty kilometer long Manila Bay bridge project interconnecting the industrial town of Mariveles ,Bataan –the island fortress of Corregidor – Naic town in Cavite.
He reiterated that several proponents to the biggest bridge in the country are keenly undertaking geographical evaluation and comprehensive feasibility studies of the huge infrastructure facility which would generate employment and business opportunities, revenues for local and national governments and other unimaginable benefits for the residents .
The Bataan-Cavite toll way bridge is reportedly the number one in the list of infrastructure projects under the Public-Private Partnership for the people and investment opportunities mode of Governor Garcia.
He described the ideal location and strategic advantages in accessibility of Bataan peninsula to Metro Manila and Southern Luzon provinces are the two basic factors which convince locators to join in the landmark project.
The bridge link scheme is reportedly designed to hasten the delivery of raw materials to local manufacturing plants and export of finished products to overseas markets and other services like accommodating petroleum, oil, fertilizer, water pipelines and other vital connecting system.
Foreign technical teams are reportedly are conducting surveys, researches and important geographical scales and data for their inputs in the preparation of detailed feasibility studies.
