BALANGA CITY, Bataan- The installation of Smart or intelligent streetlights along the 68-kilometer stretch of Roman Expressway is a big boost to economic-industrial potentials of Bataan as a haven for investment in Central Luzon.

Garcia would result to the progressive business stature and exceptional entrepreneurial growth of micro-small and medium initiatives.

The streetlights project is one of the top in the list of 16th of foremost Public-Private Partnership for the people and investment opportunities in Bataan conceptualized by Governor Garcia to accelerate development.
Roman Expressway is identified as the vital thoroughfare that connects the municipalities and the lone component city of the province including strategic area like the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) ,Petron Bataan Refinery ,SMC global power plant ,petrochemical park, Special Economic Defense Zone, Hermosa industrial complex and many other port terminals and depots.
The streetlights project is a manifestation of the local government’s plan to broaden corporate opportunities in manufacturing ,commercial ,expanding tourism industry and other industries which could attract investors to the province.
Likewise, he said the streetlights are essential for the development of the capitol compound, which occupies 10 hectares of state-owned land. It will be converted into a mixed-use government hub with commercial establishments, hotels, and business processing outsourcing offices.
