Mariveles holds Buntis Congress to promote healthy pregnancy

MARIVELES, Bataan – This municipality held Buntis Congress on Wednesday to promote healthy pregnancy among local women here.

“The program is set to educate the pregnant women on how to take care of themselves and their babies”, said Mayor AJ Concepcion.
“It is a way to promote healthy pregnancy among women here in Mariveles”, echoed Councilor Angel Sunga, SB chairman of the Committee on Heath.

Ginang Buntis was also being held yearly here in the past.

“With our Municipal Health Office, we educate pregnant women in order to avoid complications and risks to ensure the health of both the mother and the baby”, the councilor said in past interview.
