PESO Bataan conducts training program for aspiring call center agents

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Congruent to the province’s vision of attaining the lowest poverty incidence in the country, the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Bataan conducted a 3-week training program for aspiring call center agents at Microcity College of Business & Technology, this city, that started last April this year.
Applicants underwent thorough screening prior to their training program to ensure they are fit for the job. The program aims to enhance their communication skills, vocabulary and to properly handle a call. During their last day of training, trainees were directly referred to employers for interview.
According to the reports of PESO Bataan during the flag raising ceremony yesterday, May 27, the 13 trainees are now for deployment in Sutherland Global Services at Clark, Pampanga and they are planning to get more Business Process Outsoucing (BPO) companies like iQor Philippines and Genpact Bataan for more job opportunities. PESO- Bataan will conduct another screening in June for this program.
