340 Bataeños donate blood to save lives

To ensure the availability of safe and quality blood supply for patients in need of such, the Department of Health (DOH) and Bataan General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) collaborated in the conduct of a mass blood donation activity at Vista Mall – Balanga, July 12, in observance of National Blood Donor’s Month.
A total of 340 Bataeños donated blood for the purpose. The medical practitioners present at the activity ensured that all the blood donors underwent thorough physical and hemoglobin testing prior to donating blood.
BGHMC Chief, Dra. Glory V. Baltazar, strongly encouraged the people, especially the youth, to voluntarily donate blood as it improves one’s health.
