ELA-a manifestation of 1Bataan

Leading yesterday’s Executive-Legislative Agenda (ELA) conference, Governor Abet Garcia said that the Executive-Legislative Agenda (ELA) is a complete manifestation of what is 1BATAAN is all about, that 1Bataan is not just a slogan nor a tagline but an active and an effective concept of coordination among agencies complementing each other for the best interests
of all Bataeños.

Gov. Garcia stressed the significance of the conference where all the officials of the province whether from the LGU, national govt and other sectors are brought together in one page and that their collaborations with other stakeholders, their initiatives of the past years are now being manifested in their accomplishments in relation to their mandate to pursue the developments of the province.

The governor reiterated what the province have accomplished such as, Bataan is the first province in the country with the least poverty incidence, the safest place to live and invest as declared as the first province which is drug-free and insurgency free; the only province with the least inflation growth, meaning we have lower prices of commodities, that’s why families have more money being in the banks, hence we have a 16% growth in bank deposits with the observation of more banks mushrooming in the province; the most business friendly province with the help of the Bataan Chamber of Commerce; the least IRA dependent province because of our economic growth.

Moving forward, the Governor is hopeful that by the next ELA meeting they could hold it at The Bunker for everyone to see the beauty and the unique features of the structure. Since it is built through the Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) scheme, not a single centavo came from the government coffers in the construction of the building, which has walls nor divisions to encourage less stress, more productivity, better harmony, transparency, coordination and team work among departments for a better, faster and efficient delivery of services to the people.
President Duterte himself, during the inauguration of the Bunker was amazed that it will be the first One-Stop-Shop center, from the national to the local government agencies under one roof and eventually under one system.
