Homegrown architects showcase talents during the World Architecture Day

The United Architects of the Philippines Balanga Bataan Chapter (UAPBBC) celebrated its 39th Anniversary coinciding with the celebration of World Architecture Day under the theme “Architecture Housing for all” through an exhibit attended by its members, partner organizations and stakeholders, yesterday, October 6, at Vista Mall Bataan.

UAPBBC President Arch. Gary Mariano proudly presented their 47 new members, bringing the total number of UAPBBC active members to around 200 architects. The exhibit showcased works of 20 homegrown architects most of which are business establishment, religious infrastructures, and house architecture and designs.

Aside from the opening of the exhibit, a Memorandum of Agreement was also signed between the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) and UAPBBC. The purpose of the agreement is to seek ideas from the organization regarding the housing projects of the AFAB. AFAB Chairman Engr. Emmanuel Pineda proudly said that he is grateful to have UAPBBC as part of the AFAB family.
