CSC recognizes public servants

The Council of Personnel Officers-Bataan Chapter conducted the 2019 Bataan Circle of Heroes as the Civil Service Commission (CSC) celebrates its 119th founding anniversary at Crown Royale, last September 30.

The objective of the event is to recognize Human Resources Management (HRM) practitioner retirees and public servants whose dedication to their work enabled them to qualify for the Lingkod Bayan Awards in various levels with this year’s theme “Upholding Integrity and Building a High Trust Society”

The Provincial Human Resources Management Office (PHRMO) headed by Ms. Luz Concepcion together with the City of Balanga received the special Tanglaw Award highlighting their office’s recent recognition, Prime-HRM Level II Achievement which was handed by CSC Field Director of Bataan Mr. Eduardo Cruz.

Aside from the said awards, public servants who excelled and made an impact to government service were recognized as well.

Former Balanga City Councilor Hon. Jernie Jett Nisay who currently serves as the Chief of Staff of Congressman Joet Garcia was one of the National Finalists for the recently concluded Presidential Lingkod Bayan Awards for his contribution to public service including his 26 ordinances and other achievements.

The Hope Behind Bars Project, an advocacy led by Ms. Bernadeth Gabor, of the Bataan Peninsula State University was awarded for their charitable works and one of a kind mission for inmates to enable them to continue living their lives despite the situation they are into.
