10 years of providing job opportunities and still counting

Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) Chairman Emmanuel Pineda proudly presented the achievements and developments of FAB in his 2nd State of the Freeport Address during the 10th year anniversary anchored on the theme “AFAB @ 10 atin ito!”held at FAB auditorium, yesterday, October 10.

Highlighted in his report is the 247% increase in the workforce of FAB with 44,432 employees. Pineda also underscored FAB’s accumulated committed investments amounting to P149.9 billion pesos since 2010.

Over the past decade, FAB has improved its turn around time with 8 days of issuance of permit to operate, 3 days of processing business license, and as easy as 1 day issuance of occupancy permit.
Chairman Pineda stated that for the past decade, FAB remains committed to its mandate, “To provide jobs to the people, and to increase individual and family income, thereby improving the level and quality of living condition of the people,” and these opportunities are given not only to the people of Mariveles but in the country as well.
