‘No conflict with Mariveles folks’

The municipal government of Mariveles, the residents and community leaders do not have any conflict with various programs of the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB), thus said Angel Peliglorio, Jr., municipal administrator of Mariveles.

Peliglorio who takes the hitch for Mariveles Mayor Jocelyn Castaneda who had a previous appointment, said during the presscon after AFAB Chair/Administrator Emmanuel D. Pineda’s second state of the freeport address (Sofa), said he went out of his way to meet with barangay leaders and hard core critics of the AFAB expansion program.
“I don’t see any conflict with the local residents and community leaders with regard to the AFAB projects. Kung meron man sigalot konti lang yun,” said Peliglorio.

He said the local government of Mariveles is one with AFAB plans and various development projects. “Para sa development ng Mariveles, walang hindi napagkakasunduan,” the former Mariveles mayor explained.
“What is more important is we serve the interest of Mariveles folks,” he added.
