Gov. Abet Garcia, together with other officials from the North and South Luzon, served as panel discussant in yesterday’s 45th PCCI Phil. Business Conference: Business Investment Opportunities in North and South Luzon held at the Grand Pavilion of the Manila Hotel.
Gov. Abet Garcia, together with Gov. Dodo Mandanas of Batangas, Mayor Noel Rosal of Legaspi City and Raoul Romulo, Chief Finance Officer of the San Miguel Holdings Corporation, explored the best of what each province could offer in terms of business opportunities.
Gov. Garcia impressed the audience with the unique features of the province as the safest place to live and locate their businesses having been declared as the first drug-free province, insurgency-free,the province with the least poverty incidence, the least inflation growth, with 16% growth in bank deposits for this year to name a few.
It will be remembered that Bataan was last year’s awardee of the Phil. Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) as the Most Business Friendly Province in the country and hopefully this year, too.
Participants of the said conference are presidents of different Chamber of Commerce and Industry chapters in the country, prominent business men and foreign investors.
