Illegal parking, road obstruction costly

WHILE in Hermosa, Bataan never commit the mistake of parking your vehicle just anywhere or making road obstruction or else you get fined from P500 to P2,000 depending on the gravity of offense.

The municipal government of Hermosa had passed an ordinance prohibiting illegally parked vehicles and obstructions along public roads within the municipality of Hermosa.
Authored by Councilor Angelito Narciso, the ordinance noted the illegally parked vehicles and road obstructions as the two main problems that must be resolved to make all public roads and sidewalks safe and convenient for the use of general public.

Violators of the said ordinance shall be fined P500 for the first offense; P1,000 for second; and P2,000 for third. For obstructing the road, a violator faces P250 fine for first offense; P500 for second; and P1,500 for third.
The ordinance, however, specified that terminals of TODA (tricycle operators and drivers association) are not considered obstruction if it had not been provided a location site.
