Bataan priests set for inoculation

The 64 priests throughout Bataan province will soon get anti-COVID-19 vaccination from any brand available, according to Balanga Diocese Bishop Ruperto Santos. The Diocese has set aside funds for vaccination of the parish priests, their parents and the Diocese of Balanga personnel who are vulnerable to Coronavirus given the nature of their work.

Bishop Santos said, however, he would ask consent and advice of doctors for those who are taking medical maintenance.
“I, together with six priests will be first to be vaccinated together with some LGU officials,” Santos said in a text message.

He added that he already made arrangements with Congressman Jose Enrique Garcia III. “We will make it public with Bataan press people,” Santos said.
