AFAB's 'Bagong Pilipinas Job Fair

The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) successfully held the “๐—•๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ฃ๐—ถ๐—น๐—ถ๐—ฝ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐˜€ ๐—๐—ข๐—• ๐—™๐—”๐—œ๐—ฅ: ๐—›๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ผ๐—ด ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ฃ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ด๐˜‚๐—น๐—ผ, ๐—ฆ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฏ๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜†๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ง๐—ฎ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐˜ ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ ๐˜€๐—ฎ ๐—Ÿ๐—ฎ๐—ต๐—ฎ๐˜” at the AFAB Sports Complex on September 19, 2024. This event was part of the broader #BagongPilipinas initiative launched by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

The job fair was made possible through the efforts of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), and various FAB Registered Enterprises. It provided job seekers in Bataan access to employment opportunities.

The event commenced with messages from Mr. Augusto H. Kimpo, AFAB Chief of Staff, representing AFAB Administrator and CEO Hussein P. Pangandaman; Mr. Antonio M. Sicat Jr., Officer-in-Charge of DOLE Bataan Provincial Field Office; Ms. Marial Eva M. Basalo, PESO Department Head; and Ms. Leah C. Pazcoguin, PESO Manager of Mariveles.

The job fair is part of ongoing efforts to enhance employment opportunities and support the workforce in the region.
