Barangays Awarded Seal of Healthy Barangay

In line with the Provincial Government’s commitment to advancing accessible and quality healthcare at the grassroots level, Governor Joet Garcia led the recognition of barangays that have successfully implemented outstanding health programs under the 1Bataan Seal of Healthy Barangay initiative.

For the Second Quarter, 52 barangays were recognizef for their exemplary efforts in promoting and sustaining community health programs. Each awardee received ₱100,000 as incentives to further strengthen health-related initiatives in their respective localities.

Meanwhile, 76 barangays received awards in July 2025, each granted ₱50,000 in incentives, followed by 97 barangays in August 2025, who were also recognized and granted the same financial support. These incentives aim to encourage continuous improvement in health service delivery at the barangay level where it matters most.

The program is spearheaded by the Provincial Health Office, under the leadership of Dr. Rossana Buccahan, which continues to work closely with local health workers to ensure accessible, responsive, and community-based healthcare services for all Bataeños.
