Immigration process which usually takes long would now be done in 20 seconds. Thanks to Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) which teamed up with conglomerate San Miguel and iWave to improve the passenger experience at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
San Miguel’s New NAIA Infra Corporation (NNIC), both registered and located at the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) officially unveiled a biometric e-gate service airport’s Terminal 3, in ceremonies witnessed by President Marcos, Jr.
The two FAB firms entered into a contract for the phase roll-out of the e-gate system that will incorporate passport scanning and facial recognition that will cut down the immigration process to just 20 seconds.
In its social media statement, the AFAB said NNIC, a consortium led by San Miguel Holdings and iWave has partnered with travel and technology firm Amadeus.
