DA turns over modular cold storage facility to LGU Dinalupihan

Another major boost to the local agricultural sector was marked on April 23, 2026 when the Department of Agriculture (DA) Region III led the turnover ceremony of a Modular Cold Storage Facility to the Local Government Unit of Dinalupihan.

The over ₱14 million worth of facility will help preserve the freshness and maintain the high quality of agricultural products such as vegetables, fruits, meat and more. Powered by solar and wind energy, it enables a more efficient, cost-effective, environmentally friendly and sustainable operation for the benefit of Bataeño farmers.

Present in the event were Regional Director RFO III Dr. Eduardo Lapuz, Assistant Secretary for High Value Crops Atty. Joycel Panlilio, Assistant Secretary for Logistics Daniel Alfonso Atayde, Board Member Popoy Del Rosario, Dinalupihan Mayor Tong Santos and Dinalupihan Municipal Agriculturist Arlene Javier.
